CRL is engaged in tackling a range of research problems in the borad area of high-performance computing. Our current research focuses on building machine-learning compilers and runtime systems for increasing programmer productivity, improving application performance and energy efficiency on increasingly heterogeneous HPC architectures.

CRL research is supported with generous funding from the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, Semiconductor Research Consortium (SRC), IBM, NVidia, Rice University and the Research Enhancement Program at Texas State University.
